Behavioral design is about finding ways to make people happier, healthier, and more sustainable. A lot comes down to human behavior. By taking a human-centered approach we do justice to the dreams, motivations, and practices of real people while nudging them – sometimes imperceptibly – to a positive behavior change.
Over the years, we have developed the expertise and broad skillset necessary to make behavior change work in practice. In particular, we have conducted a thorough review of the leading behavior change models and approaches, to create a set of behavior change strategies that are hands-on and proven to work.
Our knowledge of behavior is based on more than twenty years’ academic research by our founders at the intersection of human psychology and innovation. In fact, Emotion Studio was started as a spin-off from Delft University of Technology, which is one of the pioneers of Design Thinking and agile design approaches. Today we love to create new tools and methods to support organizations to meet their design and communication objectives.
